About Fred Wood
Fred spent four years in the Marine Corps as an aircraft structural mechanic and served a tour in Viet Nam. When he returned, he married his wonderful wife, Donna. They have six great children (all grown now).
Fred had a long career in the Armored Car industry, leading to many promotions from General Manager of Sales and Operations, to a Regional VP of Operations in the Midwest. He serviced customers while finding cost effective solutions to customer needs and improving the profitability of the company he worked for at the time.
A few years ago, Fred and his son had a small business restoring houses and renovating in a number of ways, using sub-contractors and of course doing a great deal of the work themselves. This was a very positive experience which attracted him to Weathersby Guild.
