About Mike Bleecker
Born in Tulsa, OK, and raised in the Nashville, TN, area, Mike graduated from Middle Tennessee State University and received an MA degree from Pepperdine University.
He was commissioned as an Ensign in the US Navy where he served as a Naval Flight Officer and retired as a Commander in 1988. Mike joined Northrup Grumman that year and became a Program Manager Project Engineer.
Upon retirement from Northrup Grumman in 2003, Mike joined the Weathersby Guild to begin his third career. Because of his expertise in furniture repair and and his enthusiastic pursuit of excellence, he was awarded the designation of "master craftsman" in April 2006.
Mike and Susan, his wife of 39 years, have two grown children, Joy and Bill, and two grandchildren, Liam and Ryan.
